Naaz - Magazine Cover Page
“Naaz” was the LGBTQ+ edition of the Pehchaan magazine by the Ahmedabad University Students’ Magazine Club in 2024. The magazine was distributed in print form and digitally across the university.
I designed it using a mix of signs made in GIMP and placed in Blender with a toon-shader in Eevee for a stylised look. The design of the cover is meant to emphasise how people can reclaim spaces meant to shut them out, similar to the LGBTQ+ communities that have stood their ground and made their voice heard against all odds. I wanted to pack as many little easter eggs and references to Pride culture and memes while maintaining the stylised graffiti look.
